Delete Unnecessary Files From Local Disk | Hard Disk Drive

Now we learn how to delete the unnecessary files from Local Disk | hard disk drive in Windows 7, perform the following steps

Start Disk Cleanup, by doing any of the following

  • Click Start > Run. In the Open box, type cleanmgr, and then click OK.
  • Click Start > All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup.
  • In Windows Explorer or My Computer, right-click the disk in which you want to free up space. Then click Properties > General tab > Disk Cleanup.

Method 1

First Click Start > Run. In the Open box, Second type cleanmgr, and third click OK.

Then disk cleanup tab will open first select which files have to cleanup then click ok, then the selected files get deleted.

Method 2

All Programs > Accessories > System Tools > Disk Cleanup > Select drive > click ok.

Method 3

In Windows Explorer or My Computer, right-click the disk in which you want to free up space. Then click Properties > General tab > Disk Cleanup.
Select a files by clicking check box which you want to clean, click ok, then the selected files get deleted.
